Workshop for sustainable rural development – Greenways and LEADER

On 3 October 2024, the Kis-térség Fejlesztők Szakmai Egyesület and the Department of Geography and Planning held a joint workshop to review the state of Greenways in Hungary.

In the current EU programming period, LEADER groups will have the opportunity to apply for Greenways, for which the Association will provide technical support.

On 22 November 2024, the Department of Geography and Planning and Kis-térség Fejlesztők will organise a conference for relevant professional organisations on this topic, with a programme that will include other sustainability topics related to local economic development, in addition to the narrowly defined Greenways.
